In this week’s featured forum topic I would like to point out a newer thread that focuses on Zelda theorizing and speculation. Most people seem to be in agreement, thanks to Nintendo for making it crystal clear, that Zelda Skyward Sword, will be coming first in the Zelda Timeline.
However something that is open to speculation for the time being is what role Link and Zelda will be playing in the game. Not so much to the main concept but more so how they will interact and deal with founding Hyrule. As we all know, Link and Zelda live up in the clouds in an area called Skyloft. Below the clouds is Hyrule which is mostly uninhabited by people if not totally so. Since Skyward Sword is about the creation of the Master Sword we were discussing if this game also goes over the creation of Hyrule as a civilization.
Does Link and Zelda populate Hyrule and start civilization on the ground? Is that how the Zelda family becomes royalty? And is that how Link becomes part of the royal line of knights?
