Maiamai Locations

A Link Between Worlds has been confirmed to have an item upgrade system which is based on the collection of an item called Maiamai. The Zelda series has featured item upgrades in both Four Swords Adventures and Skyward Sword. Maiamai Locations To upgrade items in A Link Between Worlds you must collect these shell/squid themed creatures called Maiamai hidden across Hyrule. Maiamais can be found hiding within the game’s environments, and are recognizable by a distinct whining noise that they make. They are usually found attached to a wall and must be collected by using your wall merging ability or the Pegasus Boots. They are then brought back to the Mother Maiamai who lives in Lake Hylia.
