Zellie669 of devientART.com posted this gem a few months back. Although I’ve just stumbled upon it now, it’s clearly a work of art. While it’s simple, it has an epic tone to it. Seeing Hylia and her first hero looking down on Link and Zelda shows us how grand of a story Skyward Sword truly was. It was a story that spanned thousands of years, much like many legends. On a different note, the event taking place in the picture isn’t even possible. (Spoiler Alert) Hylia cannot look down on Zelda mainly because they are the same being. It could be possible that Link and Zelda are being shown a passage from the past and are not in fact being looked down upon. That would make the whole event possible. But enough about time travel and spirits, this work is very detailed for what it’s trying to accomplish. I really enjoy they reactions that Link and Zelda are giving. They appear to be absolutely shocked that, in some way, that’s who they were at some point in time. Th two pairs don’t look all that different do they?
