Nintendo officially confirmed today that Star Fox Zero will be releasing in both North America and Europe on November 20, 2015. The sixth entry in the Star Fox franchise, Zero will be the first Star Fox game for a Nintendo console since Star Fox: Assault was released for the Gamecube way back in 2005.

Being co-developed with Platinum Games, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Bayonetta, the game will see a return to the Arwing and Landmaster vehicles, as well as two brand new ones – the Walker and the Gyrowing. The Walker is a transformation of the Arwing to allow for ground-based transportation, while the Gyrowing is a new hovering aircraft that seems more suited for exploration rather than combat.
