Next Wave of amiibo Figures Gets a Launch Date

Nintendo has revealed that the launch of the next wave of amiibo figures will coincide with the previously-announced release date of both Super Mario Maker and the 8-bit Super Mario amiibo figure – September 11th, 2015. In addition to that, three more amiibo will be released two weeks later on September 25th, 2015. The amiibo figures to be released in September are:


 

September 11th:

  • Zero Suit Samus
  • Captain Olimar
  • 30th Anniversary 8-bit Mario
  • Bowser Jr.
  • Dr. Mario
  • Ganondorf

September 25th:

  • Duck Hunt
  • R.O.B.
  • Mr. Game & Watch

 

The three amiibo being released September 25th will be launching as a 3-pack only, called the “Retro 3 Pack”, and will not be available individually. Nintendo also stated that the three figures based on Mii fighters previously announced for launch in September will now be available in November launching as a similar 3-pack.
