Hyrule Warriors Legends: More My Fairy Details Revealed

A new issue of Famistu was released today revealing more of the new features coming to the game. Information regarding Hyrule Warriors Legends seems to have no end, as details of the newly introduced My Fairy system surface.

My Fairy is as most would guess what it sounds like. Fairies can be found and befriended to assist your characters while playing. Fairies can also be trained and leveled up to deal damage to waves of enemies. The higher the level the more powerful they become.

Not only will the fairies you meet learn their own skills but they will have three possible slots for “rented skills”. Say the fairy you use most is specialized to use certain types of attacks but you have a friend with a fairy with a skill you would like to use. With rented skills you can have your fairy use that ability filling a rented slot. The rented ability isn’t permanent though and will run out so use them wisely.

So you have a fairy that is leveling up nicely, and rented skills a plenty, but you may want it to specialize in different attributes. Food found in stages will allow players more customization to their fairy. Grow either a single stat or balance them out developing new powers in the process.

And of course what would be customization without some dress up. “Fairy Wear” can be found for players to customize their fairies appearance. The picture above shows just a few possible clothing choices. Items mimicking Zelda, Fi, Zora clothing, and different masks from Majora’s mask will all be able to be added to your fairy.

The features will be accessible through the menus: Diner, Salon, School, and Party. Respectively these menus allow you to feed the food you find to your fairy, dress them, learn rented skills, and use local wireless connection to play with others.

They appear to have gone all out in this feature and hopefully it doesn’t go to waste. How will you customize your fairy?
