Greetings, fellow Hyrulians!

As one of The Hidden Triforce newest writers, I’d like to make my first article a small introduction, and talk a bit about the latest Zelda title on the Switch.

My legend, takes place in sunny San Diego, California, where I’ve lived my entire life. I’ve had several adventures, but none greater than the one I am currently undertaking with my wife and son. Though most of my time is dedicated to them, every so often, I try and spend what little free time I have, taking on new new adventures from one of the greatest game developers, Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto. From the first installment with its simple title, The Legend of Zelda, to The Breath of the Wild, I’ve enjoyed diving into each new story, with wonder, dedication and prowess. The Zelda franchise is and always will be my favorite. I look forward to future endeavors, filled with excitement, awe and inspiration.

Now, on to the main event. As many of you may know, Nintendo released a Dynasty Warriors style game named Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U, on August 14, 2014. It was simple hack and slash with characters spanning every Zelda title released at the time. Due to its popularity, Nintendo decided to port the title to the Switch. The re-release, is essentially the same game, but includes all downloadable content from the previous launch, at no extra cost. I’m sure some of you may think purchasing a title released little over four years ago, might not be worth it, especially at $59.99! But for those who didn’t get a chance to play it on the Wii U, now is your chance to see what you missed. For those replaying it, you’ll be happy to know that Link will be dawning his garb from Breath of the Wild. You can also play with a friend who also has a copy in co-operative combat. All in all, it’s great for new players and those who have played it in the past. I myself have already logged in well over 24 hours. If you haven’t yet picked up a copy, definitely pick up one up today.
