According to a new Japanese released trailer, Hyrule Warriors is making its way to the Nintendo 3DS. The Legend of Zelda themed Dynasty Warriors mash-up was originally released onto the Wii U and was met with positive reviews.
The trailer (see below) also reveals a lot of new information about the 3DS version of the game. It Along with what appears to be everyone from the Wii U version, we now can see that Tetra and the King of Hyrule, both resembling their The Wind Waker skins, will be joining the battle. The game is being produced by Omega Force and Team Ninja, and will include some kind of compatibility with the Wii U version.
Since its release, Hyrule Warriors has had several new content packs and scores of new characters, so to see Tetra and The King of Hyrule, we can only guess that there will be a Wind Waker map, as well as enemies from that title. You can read our original review of the game here. You can also watch the reveal trailer below.
We previously speculated that a sequel to Hyrule Warriors was in the works. This 3DS companion title looks to be that sequel and what will hold us over until Zelda Wii U hits shelves.
What are your thoughts about this fans? Aside the gameplay looking a little choppy, I’m excited to have this title as handheld game. Tell us what you think about this exciting announcement in the comments below!
