Arashi

Age: 14

Race: Hylian

Allegiance: Kingdom of Hyrule

Bio:

Raised as a seafaring fisherman, Arashi grew up in Lurelin Town with his father and grandmother. He never knew his mother or extended relatives, but Arashi got along well with the small family he had. He would often fish and spend days out at sea with his father, and would listen to his grandmother’s stories. Since Lurelin is so disconnected from the rest of Hyrule, Arashi was never without curiosity of the world beyond his own. Though, his wonders and thirst for adventure resulted in stubborn behavior. He once stumbled into the territory of wild boars, but his father was able to rescue him before any harm came to him. Of course after that, Arashi was scolded for his recklessness. However, his family never deterred him from his curiosity of the world unknown to him. Despite such an experience, Arashi never became fearful of what he had yet to understand. His hopes outweighed the fear of the unknown, and Arashi had such hope because of his father and grandmother.

Like many children in Lurelin, Arashi was full of energy and wonder. His cheerful personality is his most notable feature. Even during troubling situations, he maintains a positive attitude, although that may be because he may not fully grasp how serious the problem may be. Certainly not willfully ignorant, as he is always wanting to learn and discover new things, but his kind-hearted nature leads him to be naïve and can be easily taken advantage of. Among his friends and family, Arashi is a cooking coinsurer and spares no expense crafting a delicious meal for his loved ones.   If there is one thing Arashi treasures the most it is the time spent with his grandmother. Her wisdom had molded his talents and curiosity, but he mostly enjoys the harp she plays every night. Arashi’s grandmother never told him how she came to posses the harp, but would only say it is a sacred heirloom that survived throughout the generations. He didn’t fully understand what she meant, but he found himself distracted by its brilliant, gold color and the warm melodies it produced. Arashi doesn’t know why, but he can almost hear a beautiful sounding voice resonating from the harp itself…

Oh hi! I am Zach Wojtowicz, but of course you already knew that. I am a post-college student with a masters in card games... ok, a BA in Writing, but that is why I'm here! Aside from being an avid gamer, I compose music and write stories of fantasy and adventure. I have been playing the Legend of Zelda since childhood, and nothing has influenced my art more than Zelda. My only wish is to share my voice to the community of fans, both old and new, that the LoZ series has made possible and continues to grow.
