As a surprise announcement in today’s Super Smash Bros. video presentation, Bayonetta was revealed as a playable character in future DLC. She topped the Super Smash Bros. ballot as the #1 choice worldwide. She has a choice of two outfits from both her games.
Bayonetta is armed with four pistols. Her fighting style is based on her games, so she has a focus on combo attacks. If you have played the Bayonetta titles, expect to see familiar abilities like Witchtime. Her final smash is Infernal Climax, which affects the entire stage with Witchtime and summons a demon.
Umbra Clock Tower, a new stage from Bayonetta, will be available with Bayonetta. Bayonetta trophies will be available when purchasing Bayonetta as a character. She will receive her own amiibo. She is expected to be available February 2016 and retail for $5.99 for each version of Super Smash Bros. and the Wii U/3DS bundle will retail for $6.99.
