The developers of Hyrule Warriors Legends have found a creative solution for Toon Link’s lack of a fairy and or sidekick. As you may recall, Link from The Wind Waker does not actively have a partner throughout the game, a stark contrast from his Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword counterparts. This situation created a problem for the developers as each iteration of Link within this game would have a fairy to carry out Link’s thoughts and talking.
They instead decided to use Link’s sister, Aryll to do all of the talking. This change is a bit odd, but there really were not a lot of options.
