Months ago there was speculation that Netflix had met with Nintendo to develop a live action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda. The series was being classified as Game of Thrones for kids.
It would appear now that discussions have moved the series from landing on Netflix and will instead aim for Amazon Prime Instant Video.
We were left to assume that the Zelda series had been nixed and nothing but a hoax after the first round of speculation, but according to GoNintendo, the first season will start production this summer, shooting in New York and Savannah, Georgia. Season Zero also appears to have some information regarding the jump to Amazon.
