Nintendo has announced two new collections editions of the New 3DS XL.
One package will be paired with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
The Animal Crossing bundle will have two removable cover plates for the system.
Due out Sept 25, the Animal Crossing bundle will retail for $219.00.
The other collector’s edition New 3DS is the Hyrule Edition 3DS sporting a great Hylian Crest. This will be a GameStop exclusive and will retail for $199.99. This version of the 3DS will launch a week after Tri Force Heroes.
Nintendo also has plans to sell a separate NFC Reader/Writer for their amiibo line for older 3DS & 2DS systems. This $19.99 add on is due out on September 25.
Nintendo has also announced 3 Wii Remote Plus controllers based on Bowser, Toad, & Yoshi. These will be sold exclusively at GameStop as well, for $39.99.
