Korok

Description: Basically they are the Kokiri. Yeah, I know, just hear me out. Around a century after Ocarina Of Time took place, Hyrule got flooded and the different races had to adjust to their new lives. In response to that, the children of the Great Deku tree took form as Koroks because it was simply easier. (They could easily fly with the Deku Leaves, plus they believed this shape was more true to who they really were as opposed to the human shape they had as Kokiri.

It’s a rule that every Rito that wishes for wings must encounter Valoo in order to get them.
