Etsy storeowner Deanna Brydson, residing in Barrie, Canada, manages PixelCollieCrafts. Her store consists of impressive custom Amiibo, paintings, drawings, and other artwork. Brydson’s custom-made Amiibo line involves the repainting and building of pieces to fit each individual product.

“I actually started my shop after getting a request for a certain item from my DeviantArt, that was the holiday of 2014. I had made a Spoils Bag (the one from Wind Waker) and one person wanted to commission me to make one out of vinyl instead of cloth. So, I created this shop basically for that one thing. After that, Amiibo started to become more and more popular. I was so inspired by others customs that I just had to try it myself. That ended up growing until it was the thing I began making the most. Before I started my shop, I had experimented with creating polymer clay figures, one of which was a Twilight Princess link. So I had a bit of experience with clay and paint before I got into Amiibo making. Mostly I loved creating things that made people happy, and I simply just love making art to begin with. So, that was the main reason I started selling here.”

Brydson sells a variety of Legend of Zelda customs in her store. A few of those Amiibos include “Outset Island” Wind Waker-inspired Toon Link, A Link Between Worlds-inspired Hilda, Minish Cap-inspired Toon Link, the Super Smash Bros. recolor skins for adult Link, and even the Link featured in the upcoming Zelda U.

Aside from Amiibo figurines, Brydson’s shop PixelCollieCrafts sells the paintings featured in the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and the recreation of Super Mario 64’s famous Bob-omb painting. She plans on selling more Legend of Zelda-related Amiibos including an Ordonian Link, a Demise-themed Ganon, and a Hyrule Warriors Zelda figure.

“I appreciate you guys taking the time to read this. I always absolutely love trying out new custom amiibo and craft projects, it’s has become a huge passion of mine that’s grown so much over the last while. I love bringing people’s ideas to life, so any requests and commissions are definitely welcome!”

Brydson has an Instagram page that she posts her updated customs on, so be sure to check it out for any new creations. What kind of Amiibo creations do you look forward to? What Legend of Zelda-inspired crafts are you interested in seeing? Let us know in the comments below.
