Kwill

Race: Hylian

Allegiance: Unaffiliated

Bio:

At a young age, Kwill was displaced from his home on the edge of the Lost Woods. His village was raided and destroyed by the Yiga Clan, and he was the only one to escape. Kwill didn’t travel far before collapsing from his injuries, but he was rescued by a Rito traveller. He was taken back to a Rito town in the Hebra Region where he was nursed back to health, but had no memory of his home or even his name. The Rito chose to adopt him and gave him the name, “Kwill”. From then on, Kwill grew up among the Rito, and travelled around Hyrule as a merchant with his Rito family. During his travels, Kwill stumbled in the Forgotten Temple, and discovered a multitude of deactivated ancient Guardian Walkers. He soon became fascinated with the technology, and began to study it and even managed to rebuild a Guardian. The experience inspired Kwill to seek out and collect more artifacts of forgotten ages across Hyrule.

Eccentric and even sometimes paranoid, Kwill is a self-taught historian and seeks to learn as much as he can from the places he visits. His outgoing and sociable personality makes him easy to approach, but he doesn’t always know when to stop talking. However, it is difficult for Kwill to maintain close relationships mostly due to personal reasons, despite him getting along with others relatively well. Though he rarely gets angry, he does become quite passive aggressive and has a sarcastic wit to outwardly show in place of his anger or annoyance towards someone. Kwill prefers to deal with problems logically instead of resorting to violence, but he is a trained archer and knows his way around a sword should it come to having to use it. He has a bad habit of not being focused most of the time. Kwill will impulsively focus on more than one project at a time, and eventually gets lost in his disorganization. Yet, when there is something he strives to achieve, he will intently work towards that goal. Kwill had recently discovered a legend of a Sword created by a race of miniature beings that produces identical copies of its wielder. He will soon be off on a quest to discover if such a blade exists anywhere in Hyrule.

Oh hi! I am Zach Wojtowicz, but of course you already knew that. I am a post-college student with a masters in card games... ok, a BA in Writing, but that is why I'm here! Aside from being an avid gamer, I compose music and write stories of fantasy and adventure. I have been playing the Legend of Zelda since childhood, and nothing has influenced my art more than Zelda. My only wish is to share my voice to the community of fans, both old and new, that the LoZ series has made possible and continues to grow.
