Bio:
Very little is known of Artea’s background. She’s even an enigma to the secretive Sheikah Tribe. During her childhood, she discovered a tome that mentioned a Sheikah splinter group known as the Consortium Arcana. Artea was intrigued by the Arcana’s history in uniting the races of Hyrule that were once on the edge of war with each other. In fact, she obsessed over it and spent many long years studying them. She rarely interacted with the other children in the tribe. She isolated herself in constant study of magic and history of the Consortium. By age thirteen, Artea left her home on a journey in search of the order’s fortress. Allegedly, she had discovered the Consortium’s location, as well as its leader, a Sheikah Monk by the name of Sefas Ka’Rith. For the next nine years, she trained under Sefas in the ancient Sheikah arts. She formed a close friendship with her mentor, but at the end of the ninth year, Sefas had passed on. Artea left the Arcana abandoned to adventure across Hyrule and continue her training.
On the surface, Artea comes off as cold and unpredictable. She doesn’t seem to value close relationships of any kind, but is only interested in those who carry magical or divine attributes. However, should she choose to befriend someone, she becomes more playful and warmhearted towards them. She bears no ill will towards anyone, but simply follows life where it leads her and accepts the outcomes and consequences. Due to most of her life being spent outside the common world, Artea struggles to interact with others, which results in her being incredibly socially awkward. However, she does possess a unique kinship with animals such as horses and wolves. Artea is fascinated by the animals’ lack of human conscience, yet their ability to still display basic wants of love and survival. Her role in the adventures to come still remain a mystery, but perhaps there is something Artea knows that we have yet to discover…
