I honestly never thought I would ever see Princess Zelda and Ganondorf, the King of Thieves, remotely enjoy each other’s company, let alone take each other’s hands in marriage.
Through “A Tale of Two Rulers,” a comic written by Tumblr user Figment Forms, the two agree to be pronounced as King and Queen, as well as husband and wife, in order to bring peace to Hyrule. Though Ganondorf has a separate agenda in mind, perhaps he will eventually have a change of heart throughout this entertaining story.
The well-written comic features iconic characters such as Ghirhaim, Impa, Vaati, and Skull Kid. It also includes Figment Forms’ original character, Princess Rinku, who is Zelda’s adopted daughter. She is all-too similar to our favorite hero and is an enjoyable character who will not tolerate her “new Father’s” behavior.
Thankfully, the comic is ongoing, so Zelda and Ganondorf’s story is far from over. You can check out the “movie,” or dubbed comic, by Starbot Dubs below.
