True Swords Master Sword Review

We were recently given a Master Sword replica from True Swords to review. This 38 1/2″ sword is a great addition to any Legend of Zelda fan’s collection, though it is not without its faults.

On the whole there is little to complain about regarding this Master Sword replica. The sword is well designed and features a lot of detail ranging from the vibrant paint finishing and the iconic imagery on the sword itself. The sword’s handle is well designed to match the scabbard, with complementary gold designs. Aesthetically, there is little to complain about.

However, many fans may buy this sword with the intention of using it with a cosplay or a more engaging activity. While the sword looks great hanging on the wall, it does not hold up very well under wear and tear. The paint will easily chip off which can leave your prized Master Sword looking a tad beat up. Overall, this problem will not be an issue with most consumers, and it should not sway your decision to purchase.
