“Congrats, Grads!”: Legend of Zelda Graduation Cap Ideas

Graduation is an invigorating and wonderful event. Whether you’re celebrating the conclusion of your college, university, or high school career, what better way to commemorate your success and memorable event than incorporating The Legend of Zelda series? If able to, decorating your graduation cap is an enjoyable experience.

I graduated from Bartram Trail High School during the month of May in 2014. I had family in town and was unable to prettify my graduation cap. My mom had surprised me with a The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask-themed cap made out of multiple layers of felt. It is by far one of my favorite high school memories. Consider your diploma or degree the closest item to the Triforce of Wisdom. Congratulations, graduates! You deserve it! If you are interested in a Legend of Zelda-themed graduation cap, consider the following ideas.

  • The classic “It’s Dangerous To Go Alone, Take This!” phrase.
  • The Triforce.
  • The Hylian Crest.
  • The Hylian shield’s design.
  • “Dawn of the Final Day” with the Majora’s Mask or Clock Town clock.
  • The three spiritual stones: Kokiri emerald, Goron ruby, and Zora sapphire.
  • Classic Link holding up a mini graduation cap, diploma, or degree in the “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone, Take This!” scene.
  • The six medallions from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
  • The Goddesses’ symbols from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
  • The Twilight Portal.
  • Midna’s helmet.
  • The Sheikah Eye symbol.
  • Navi, Tael, Tatl, or any of The Legend of Zelda fairies.
