Check out These Awesome Custom Amiibo Figures

I have been an amiibo collector since what is sometimes deemed as the “Amiibogeddon,” so I can’t help but be impressed with the sheer talent and hard work that goes into custom amiibo figurines. I recently came across this adorable Hestu amiibo on Etsy and had to share it.

These modified, custom figurines are built and painted by Anne Kong. Residing in Dallas, Texas, she is the storeowner of AK Shop 08, an Etsy shop specializing in custom amiibo from all kinds of series.

Kezzarula on Etsy, after purchasing one of her Hestu figures, said “Anne is a very talented artist and I feel her prices for her work are very fair. She is prompt with replying to messages too. I was really impressed [with] how she packaged my amiibo to reduce the chance of damage as much as possible, she even provided some glue as well just in case!” You can currently purchase this cute, dancing Korok for $50.00.

Everything from the realistic tree on his head, to his genuine leather material bag, is adorable, in my opinion.

Another awesome, Zelda-inspired figure in Kong’s shop is her Toon Link, which is a modified version of the Super Smash Bros. amiibo. He can be customized to hold either a cucco or a pig which, in my opinion, adds so much more character to the figure. He is sporting his iconic blue lobster shirt from Wind Waker and is holding the Master Sword on his back behind his shield. You can currently purchase him for $45, if you provide the amiibo.

Toon Link, presumably on his way to toss that cucco into the ocean.

Everything from Linkle, to the Nintendo Switch dog, to Mario from the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey have been brought to life in amiibo form at AK Shop 08. Kong sells custom amiibo from other Nintendo series such as Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Super Mario Bros. Additionally, she modifies other kinds of figures such as Funko Pop! and Nendoroid.

I posted some photos below, but I suggest checking out her shop yourself for more details. You can also find photos of her work through her Instagram. They’re definitely worth taking a look at!
